The Yule Cat is the final instalment of 2025's yarn club, so no new subscriptions can be taken out in December. But you can still make a one-off order and join us as we explore this legendary Icelandic midwinter monster. 
 
Welcome to the Twisted Tales: Bestiary Monthly Yarn Club - the mystery yarn club that brings mythical creatures to life in fibre and colour. 
 
Each month's package includes:
 
A 100g skein of hand-dyed DK or 4ply sock yarn, inspired by a mythical beast.
A themed collectible stitch marker, designed to match the creature of the month.
A wax-sealed envelope containing a specially written chapter of lore, unveiling the legend behind the colourway.
Optional - add a 20g mini skein to complete a sock set.
 
Fibre Content: 85% Extrafine Merino 15% Nylon (Superwash)
Main Skein: 4ply 100g/400m, DK 100g/225m
Optional Miniskein: 4ply 20g/80m, DK 20g/45m

    Embrace the colour!

    I have subscribed to the monthly club since last summer. The yarn is so soft and the colours are all glorious and such an inspiration that each month I was always disappointed I only had one skein. This year I have doubled up and can finally make garments such as this (unfinshed) T-shirt using February's Phoenix colourway, so pleased with how it looks and feels. Thanks, Naomi!

    I was SO happy when this arrived- it had been one of *those* days and frankly a surprise yarn delivery was just the antidote. The colourway is gorgeous, as ever the yarn is super squishy and soft and lovely and the additional stitch marker along with the accompanying story was lovely. I really can't wait for the next one and am already planning some Twisted Tales socks- just got to settle on a pattern now.

    Lantern Man Lushness

    March yarn club arrived yesterday and it’s my favourite so far. This is why we buy hand dyed- the different hues in those blues, it’s stunning. I know exactly what this is being used for and have the pattern ready as soon as my current WIP is off the needles.
