Places of Power is a monthly mystery yarn club exploring the stories and meanings behind the places where folklore and history collide. Each hand-dyed colourway is inspired by one type of location, accompanied by a chapter of lore and a themed stitch marker.

Places of bargains, devilish encounters and fateful choices - where paths meet and roads fork, every direction is a decision. 
 
Orders are open from 1st–15th September, with clubs dyed to order and dispatched at the end of the month.

A 100g skein of hand-dyed yarn (20g miniskein add on available)
A themed stitch marker
A wax-sealed envelope containing a specially written chapter of lore, exploring the history, beliefs and legends behind the locations

Embrace the colour!
I have subscribed to the monthly club since last summer. The yarn is so soft and the colours are all glorious and such an inspiration that each month I was always disappointed I only had one skein. This year I have doubled up and can finally make garments such as this (unfinshed) T-shirt using February's Phoenix colourway, so pleased with how it looks and feels. Thanks, Naomi!

I was SO happy when this arrived- it had been one of *those* days and frankly a surprise yarn delivery was just the antidote. The colourway is gorgeous, as ever the yarn is super squishy and soft and lovely and the additional stitch marker along with the accompanying story was lovely. I really can't wait for the next one and am already planning some Twisted Tales socks- just got to settle on a pattern now.

Lantern Man Lushness
March yarn club arrived yesterday and it’s my favourite so far. This is why we buy hand dyed- the different hues in those blues, it’s stunning. I know exactly what this is being used for and have the pattern ready as soon as my current WIP is off the needles.
